Career

Currently, I’m the Front Desk Manager at the Renaissance Nashville –a 674 room convention hotel located in downtown Music City. I support the day-to-day operations including Front Desk, Delighted to Serve (telephone associates), Bell, Runners, and Concierge. Prior to being promoted, I was an Assistant Room Operations Manager.

I worked as the Operations Manager at the Springhill Suites by Marriott Indianapolis Westfield. I supported the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments. Prior to being promoted, I was the Front Desk Supervisor.

 The hotel is a 150 room all-suite property located minutes from the Grand Park Sports Complex. The hotel finished 2020 ranked in the Top 3% of the Springhill Suites brand for Guest Service Satisfaction (GSS).


I worked as a Housekeeping Supervisor at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown— a 650 room convention hotel located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. I supervised and led 60-plus Guest Room Attendants, Laundry Attendants, Housekeeping Attendants, Housemen, and Inspectors. Selected to participate in White Lodging’s Leadership Development Series II.

Prior to being promoted, I was a member of the front office team. 60% of my time was spent as a Front Desk Associate. 40% was spent as Rooms Control. A graduate of White Lodging’s Leadership Development Series I.

 

Emplify is on a mission to help one million employees do the best work of their careers. As a sales development representative (SDR), I was generally the first point of contact with a potential client to see if Emplify’s employee engagement measurement solution could help them. I worked on both the outbound and inbound SDR teams.

 

I worked at Angie’s List as a Client Success Representative.  I built relationships with customers to guide, manage, and grow their advertising campaigns. I worked with many first-year advertisers to help them create a path for advertising success.

 

I spent 6 years on the front lines for T-Mobile. I moved through the ranks from a part-time Retail Sales Associate to Retail Associate Manager. 

I graduated from the Career Development Program (CDP) as a Sales Associate. The program was designed to groom high-potential Sales Associates, Sales Leaders, and Associate Managers for store leadership positions. Shortly after completing the program, I was promoted to Retail Sales Leader.

With a passion for Apple technology, I was one of four Apple Specialists in Indiana. This role allowed me to be a store and district Apple influencer. I drove device knowledge and matched the iOS user experience to the right customers. I created a district newsletter (Apple News) to share relevant Apple content. I developed and co-facilitated a district Apple training. It focused on Sales Associates’ Apple knowledge and increasing mobile internet sales with iPad.

 

I sold laptop and desktop packages as an Inside Sales Representative. I worked on an E-Sales pilot team. The pilot’s focus was to find additional ways to increase revenue for sales representatives.
